Artist Statement
It's a beautiful wish, is it not? That all your joys together be real and felt, and the pains in your journey be champagne. But there is a deeper meaning here, too. It's all about your perspective. Inevitably, there will be challenges in your life together. It's effortless to celebrate when the going is clear, but an easygoing journey doesn't make a story worth celebrating, no? It is how we meet our challenges and grow together through them that pain turns to champagne. When two become one, the creed should be that all challenges will be met with joint positive force - meeting each day with joy and resilience, knowing that together, you can do anything.
